New feature: Hashtag definitions

Today we’ve released a new feature, the hashtag definitions. Whenever there is a hashtag in your feed, there will be a little “info” icon which you can click and get more information about the hashtag (definition and statistics)

This feature is powered by what the hashtag, a service that is dedicated to provide more information about twitter hashtags.

  • Thanks for incorporating the What the Hashtag API into your application. This is exactly the type of use case our team had in mind when we developed the API, so it's awesome to see it being used. The small info icon next to the hashtag is perfect.

    Let us know when Social Whale opens up to the public so we can take a closer look!
